As announced, the Worlds Group Draw has been celebrated today September 15th, and the 22 participant teams already know who they are facing in the upcoming League of Legends World Championship, where Play-in first starts on September 25th and the Main Event will follow from October 3rd.

You can check all the details, format, qualified teams, schedules, and updates about the 2020 World Championship here.

Nevertheless, as a short reminder, the Play-in Stage is going to divide the 10-qualified teams into two groups of five, where they will face each other in a Single Round-Robin with Bo1 series. Only two teams of each group will advance to the next stage, the Main Event. Six teams will be automatically eliminated.

The Main Event will have four groups of four teams each. We have known the first three teams of each group, and need to wait for the Play-in to finish to know who is the fourth qualified of each group (there will be a new draw after the Play-in is finished). Teams will face each other in a Double Round-Robin with Bo1 series, and only the top two teams will advance to the Knockout Stage.

In case you wonder, today’s Group Draw has followed one rule: there cannot be teams from the same region in a single group.

Once you know this, it is time to see what groups we have!
