A year after T1 announced their entrance into the Dota 2 scene, the organization parts ways with Lee “Forev” Sang-don.
Forev has been the centerpiece for T1 since August 2019, when the South Korean organization decided to step into the Dota 2 competitive scene. He’s been the captain and the one who hunted for talents to build a team that would be able to pose a threat in the Southeast Asian region. Unfortunately, the several roster changes didn’t have the desired effect and T1 are yet to make the jump above the tier 2 scene.
No replacement has been announced as of yet, but T1 seem to have enough time to decide what will be their next move as they are not featured in the upcoming OMEGA League Asia division.
Forev has not announced any future plans, but considering that the SEA and Chinese scenes have already started to tinker with their rosters, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him reuniting with his old MVP friends in the near future.
T1 current roster:
- Galvin “Meracle” Kang Jian Wen
- Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky
- Tri “Jhocam” Kuncoro
- Wilson “Poloson” Koh Chin Wei
