Vici Gaming will suffer only one roster change heading into the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit and will show their new line-up next week when they will start the wild Midas Mode 2.0 journey.
After their former captain Pan “Fade” Yi left the team in the aftermath of TI9, retired and returned to the pro scene to join Team Aster, all in a span of one week, Vici Gaming will carry on with Team Serenity’s support, Xiong “Pyw”‘ Jiahan.
Pyw spent the past two years at Team Serenity, also on the captain role of the team. His experience is rather vast in local tournaments, but he also was on the Serenity roster that made it to The International 2017 and won the first edition of WSOE: Showdown of Esports. He returned with his team in Vegas in April 2019 to defend the WSOE title, and in both tournaments, he played offlane, as Serenity couldn’t make it to the US with their full roster. However, at Vici Gaming he will assume the support 4 position left vacant by Fade.
No other roster change will be made on the Vici Gaming, but starting with the new season, Zhang “Paparazi灬” Chengjun will play under a new nickname, as he decided to switch his in-game ID to Eurus.
Vici Gaming roster from position 1 to 5:
- Zhang “Eurus” Chengjun
- Zeng “Ori” Jiaoyang
- Zhou “Yang” Haiyang
- Xiong “Pyw”‘ Jiahan
- Ding “Dy” Cong
Vici Gaming will play their first official matches together starting with October 29, when the Chinese group enters the battle at Midas Mode 2.0.
